FAQs

How much do custom orders cost?

The price varies based on what you want from your order.

There is a minimum charge of £20 on custom pieces on top of the base price (£15 for kids coat orders), but from there it just depends on your choice. For more information, go to the ‘Custom Works’ section of the website.

How long will my order take to get to me?

Orders usually take between 1-3 weeks, average timescale will be listed at the bottom of each individual style in the online shop. Everything is handmade in the KerrieALDO studio, these times may vary dependent on the volume of orders there are at one time. If you need your order for a specific date and are not sure that it will reach you in time please drop us a line at info@kerriealdo.com and we will do our best to help.

How do I know what size to buy?

We have a general size guide and are working on adding more size guides in for specific styles so you can check the fit. We would recommend that you compare the measurements to things you already own that you know fit well. In the meantime if you would like the measurements for a specific style then you can email us at info@kerriealdo.com with what style you are interested in along with your usual size and we will get back to you asap.

Can I return an item if it doesn’t fit?

For non-custom orders, yes. However, we would recommend that you closely check the sizing guide or ask for sizing advice prior buying to get the right fit first time. That way you don’t have to wait any longer than necessary to wear your KerrieALDO piece! The options for a return would be either an exchange or a refund.

Unfortunately for custom orders this is not possible however rest assured that we will work hard to get the fit right for you by discussing all size requirements prior to starting your order.

How much will my shipping/delivery cost?

This varies depending on what you would like to order.

All orders over £200 come with free worldwide shipping. For more specific information head to the ‘Shipping & Returns’ page.

Do you have a physical shop?

No, our shop is exclusively online. However, we occasionally do pop-up shops. If you’d be interested in coming to see us at one of these keep an eye on our Instagram page @kerriealdo and sign up to the mailing list to keep up to date with any up and coming events.

In custom pieces, do I need to choose from the fabrics you already use in your current designs?

In short, No…  We work with fabrics that are a good quality and that we love to work with.  The main fabrics used are cotton, waxed cotton, corduroy and tapestry for outers and endless variation for lining fabrics.  We can offer different colours and source new options on request.  Just drop us a line at info@kerriealdo.com and include as much info. on what you have in mind and we will let you know the possibilities from there!

I want to buy something you used to make but it’s not on your website anymore, is there any way of getting these?

Maybe.  Again, this would be totally dependent on each individual piece.  If we can, we will be happy to do this for you so just get in touch and include a photo or description of the piece you have seen and we will let you know if it will possible! Sometimes we run out of fabric or have made a one off that won’t be reproduced, but do get in touch to check.

Why does it matter that everything is made in the UK?

There are many reasons this matter to us at KerrieALDO.  The main point and drive being that we are against slave labour, sweatshops & fast fashion.  Our designs are produced on a made to order basis giving us more control on individual sizing, detailing and custom options.  This means that whatever you order is specifically made for you, creating less waste and having more creative control.

If I have questions about my order, should I order first and then message you or the other way around?

It is always best to message us first, unless otherwise stated.

What’s the best way to look after my Kerrie ALDO jacket? Washing instructions etc.

A well looked after garment will be with you for many years to come.  Each item will have washing instructions in the online shop listing so please check back there.

Waxed cotton has more specific care instructions than your average jacket, this is what gives it the longevity – do not machine wash your waxed cotton jacket.  We provide wax reproofing, which can be found along with more care info. here.

Can I have a Kerrie ALDO piece sent as a gift?

Yes, of course. Just put the address you’d like the order to go to when entering the shipping details, let us know if you would like a message included with your gift.

Can I change my order after I’ve placed it?

This is possible on orders placed within the online shop but please do get in touch as soon as you know so that we have not sent your order out. If for any reason however not on ‘Custom Works’

Can you do international orders?

Yes. See our ‘Shipping & Returns’ for more information.

If I message you, how long would it usually take you to get back to me?

The best way to get in touch is by email, we will always get back to you as soon as possible, usually within 1-3 days.

If I order two items in a short period of time, can you combine the orders?

Yes. Please just get in touch after you have ordered and we can sort this out for you.

Will you tell me when my order has been shipped?

Yes, you will get a email to let you know when your order has been shipped.
